We’re currently hiring for the following positions:

BIM Specialist
Full Time
Experience Level: 1-4 years
Greater Boston – North Quincy, MA

Typically 2 years with Revit experience in an architecture and/or interior design firm (Some healthcare experience a plus.) Performs assignments under direction of the Associate in Charge, Project Manager or Project Coordinator. BIM specialist shall have demonstrated experience creating construction documents utilizing BIM platforms (preferably Revit), as well as presentation drawings and renderings of architectural projects in a professional setting. Performs and documents field surveys of existing conditions. Development of presentation and construction drawings from concepts and sketches with oversight and direction by senior team members. Implements firm standards in all work performed including but not limited to Revit standards, filing procedures and office protocols. Self-reviews work and assures accuracy appropriate to level of experience.

Qualifications:
• Understands the urgency of deadlines
• Proficiency utilizing Revit for the creation of presentation and construction documents
• Strong visualization skills. Experience with 3DS Max a plus
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) a plus
• Some technical knowledge of building materials, components, and systems
• MS Office Suite proficiency required
• Some knowledge of regional building codes and zoning regulations preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred
• Individuals that have attained or are in the process of attaining licensure


Project Coordinator
Full Time
Experience Level: 5-9 years
Greater Boston – North Quincy, MA

Typically 5 to 9 years of experience (some healthcare experience required). Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsized projects. Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Actively manages schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments. Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts. Works with Project Lead (e.g., Associate Principal, Sr. Associate, Associate or Project Manager) to monitor actual costs and participates in post project debriefs with team and client. Demonstrate the capability of driving all necessary project activities to completion, with technical competence and effective project management skills. Relationship management, problem-solving, communication, architectural excellence, decision making and collaboration are key skills and abilities. Works independently on architectural design projects and often coordinates project design efforts. Develops planning and creative-design concepts for projects. Prepares presentation and design drawings and details. Requires substantial experience, 5-9 years in developing details and providing planning and design support in the preparation of design development. Responsible for finished plans, specifications, or approval of materials and construction. Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices in broad array of assignments and related fields. Acts independently regarding architectural methods and complexities. Requires use of advanced techniques and modification/extension of theories, precepts, and practices of healthcare architecture. Shall have the capacity to coordinate with consultants and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives and participate in construction administration. Understands and is a proponent of firm values, policies and standards. Provides oversight and monitoring of work of less experienced BIM specialists and interns. Responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating project team assignments of more junior staff.

• Experience in Healthcare project requirements and processes
• Multiple years of experience in delivering projects utilizing Revit required
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) a plus
• Experience creating project schedules with Microsoft Project
• MS Office Suite proficiency required
• Working towards Registered architect status
• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program
• LEED AP, EDAC and/or LEAN certifications a plus
